Delete your Ai-Neut account and data

This page is for Ai-Neut (Android app com.aineut.app and web app ai-neut.grok.me), developed by Charles-Gordon Stuart Eaton. You can delete your account and data at any time, and you don't need to reinstall the app to ask.

Option 1: In the app (fastest)

  1. Open Ai-Neut and go to Settings.
  2. Scroll to Delete my data and confirm.

This erases the journal, calendar, notes, and settings from that device right away. If you're signed in, it also deletes your account and its data on our server. Do it on each phone or browser you used, because things saved only on a device can be erased only on that device.

Parents: delete a child's profile and data

  1. On a parent phone, open Family and tap the child.
  2. Tap See this child's data to review it, or Delete this child to delete it (rolling out in the next app update; until then, email us).

This deletes the child's profile, chores, points, and reward history from the family, withdraws your consent, and unlinks the child's phone. That phone then erases the child's on-device journal and data the next time it opens. You can also email familyainewt@gmail.com with the subject "Child data deletion request" from your parent account's email. We'll confirm you're the parent and finish within 30 days, usually much sooner.

Option 2: Ask us by email

  1. Email familyainewt@gmail.com with the subject "Account deletion request".
  2. Send it from the email address you sign in with (Google or X), or tell us that address.
  3. Say whether you want your whole account deleted, or only some data (for example, only the journal copy or a calendar link).

We'll reply to confirm within 3 business days and finish the deletion within 30 days. We may ask a simple question to make sure the request really comes from you.

Before you delete: Helping Hand

Deleting your account doesn't cancel a Google Play subscription. If you bought Helping Hand in the Android app, cancel it first in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Ai-Neut → Cancel. If you bought on the web, we cancel it for you when we delete your account. If you want a copy of your journal, tap Save a file on this phone first.

What gets deleted

  • Your account: name, email, account ID, age band, sign-in sessions, and Helping Hand status and counters.
  • If you're a parent: any child profiles you created and their synced data (unless another parent in the family keeps them). Consent records are kept as described below.
  • The journal copy you kept off the phone, if any.
  • Calendar links (feeds) you created. They stop working.
  • Your family (house) sync data, if you're the last linked phone. If other family phones are still linked, the shared family items stay for them; you can remove the house from every phone to delete it completely.
  • Any Helping Hand asks or pictures we still hold.
  • On the device, when you use Delete my data: the journal, notes, drawings, calendar, cached Google/Outlook events, calendar tokens, and settings.

What we keep, and for how long

  • Payment records (plan, amount, date, payment reference, email) for as long as tax and accounting law requires, generally up to 7 years. Stripe and Google Play keep their own records under their policies.
  • Your deletion request email, as a record that we handled it, for up to 2 years.
  • Parental consent records (parent email and dates, with no child content) for 3 years after a child's profile is deleted, to show we followed COPPA.
  • Copies in our providers' encrypted backups until they rotate out on the providers' normal schedule.

Data that only lives on your device

We can't reach data that's saved only on your phone or computer. To remove it without the app, clear Ai-Neut's storage (Android: Settings → Apps → Ai-Neut → Storage → Clear storage) or clear site data for ai-neut.grok.me in your browser, or uninstall the app.

Google and Microsoft calendar access

Disconnect in Ai-Neut's Calendar settings, and you can also remove access at myaccount.google.com/permissions (Google) or account.live.com/consent/Manage (Microsoft). Your events stay in your Google or Outlook calendar. We never stored them on our server.
