Terms of Service

Effective date: October 17, 2026.

Ai-Neut is "A journal and a family organizer": a private journal, a family calendar, lists and house standards, jokes, learning rooms, music (Glass Newt), and the optional paid Helping Hand upgrade. Ai-Neut is operated by Charles-Gordon Stuart Eaton, an individual doing business as Ai-Neut in Johns Creek, Georgia, USA ("we," "us"). "You" means the person using Ai-Neut. These terms cover the web app, the Android app, and www.ai-neut.com.

1. Not therapy, not medical care, not for emergencies

Ai-Neut is not therapy, counseling, medical care, mental-health treatment, or legal, financial, or safety advice, and it is not an emergency or crisis service. Nothing in Ai-Neut (prompts, quotes, check-ins, parenting content, maps, or Helping Hand answers) diagnoses, treats, or prevents any condition or replaces a licensed professional. Nobody monitors what you write, and we can't respond to emergencies.

If anyone may be in danger, call 911 (US) now. For a mental-health or suicide crisis, call or text 988 (988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, US) or chat at 988lifeline.org. For child abuse concerns, call or text the Childhelp National Child Abuse Hotline at 1-800-422-4453. Outside the US, contact your local emergency number.

Ai-Neut isn't a court, custody, or evidence tool. What you do with anything you read in Ai-Neut is your choice and your responsibility.

2. Accepting these terms

By using Ai-Neut, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Ai-Neut.

3. Who can use Ai-Neut: adults, teens, and kids with a parent

  • Adults (18+) can use everything, including creating a family, adding kids, connecting calendars, buying Helping Hand on the web or in Google Play, and the adult-only rooms.
  • Teens (13 to 17) can use Ai-Neut on their own without a parent's permission in Ai-Neut, and may sign in with Google or X. Adult-only rooms are never available to teens. Teens may buy Helping Hand only through Google Play, under Google Play's rules (which can include a parent's approval through Family Link or under state law, such as in Texas). If you're a teen, please read these terms with a parent or guardian if you can.
  • Kids (under 13) can use Ai-Neut only after a parent or legal guardian adds them to a family, gives consent as described in our Privacy Policy, and links the child's phone. Kids don't sign in, can't buy anything, and don't use the AI. The parent agrees to these terms for the child and is responsible for the child's use, the family code, and the parent code.
  • Age is asked for once, when Ai-Neut first opens. Please answer honestly. Profiles that give a false age, or that a parent reports, may be changed or removed.
  • Adult-only rooms (such as adult humor in Laugh) are only for adult profiles that aren't on a kid's or teen's phone. They may be left out of the Android app entirely.

Points shop

Chore points and the points shop are a family game run by the parent. Rewards are whatever the parent writes in. Points have no cash value, can't be bought, sold, or transferred, can't be used to buy Helping Hand or anything else in the app, and may be reset by the parent. Ai-Neut doesn't provide or deliver any reward. Keeping a promised reward is between the family members.

4. Your content

Your journal entries, notes, drawings, calendar items, and anything else you put into Ai-Neut belong to you. You give us only the limited permission needed to store, sync, display, and back up your content so the features you turn on work for you and the people you choose to share with. We don't sell your content or use it to train AI models. You're responsible for what you write and share, including with your family, and for having the right to share information about other people.

Most content is stored only on your device. Keep your own copy (Save a file on this phone) of anything important.

5. Acceptable use

Ai-Neut has no ads, for anyone. Please don't use Ai-Neut to break the law; to harass, threaten, stalk, or harm anyone; to create or share sexual content involving minors or any content that exploits or endangers children (we report this to the authorities); to try to get Helping Hand to produce harmful, hateful, sexual, or deceptive content; to share content you don't have rights to; to hack, overload, reverse engineer, or disrupt the service; to access other people's accounts or data; or to resell the service.

6. Helping Hand and AI

Helping Hand uses an AI model (Grok, from xAI). It's available to adult and teen profiles, never kids'. AI answers, pictures, quotes, prices, hours, maps, and links can be wrong, incomplete, or out of date. Check anything important before you rely on it. A crime map or "hunt" is not a promise that a place is safe. Use the in-app report button to flag anything offensive or wrong (see Safety).

7. Helping Hand: price, renewal, cancellation, refunds

Ai-Neut is free to use and has no ads. Helping Hand is an optional paid upgrade, and nothing in the free app moves behind it. Kids' profiles can't buy it. Teens can buy it only through Google Play. Adults can buy it on the web or in Google Play.

  • Helping Hand: $36 per year (US dollars, plus any tax). Each year includes 150 asks, 20 pictures, and 250,000 characters of the named voices (Luna, Ara, Ursa, Eve), about 3,000 short replies. The phone's own voice is free and doesn't count.
  • Top-off: $5, one time. Adds 40 asks, 20 pictures, and 80,000 voice characters (about 1,000 short replies). It needs an active Helping Hand year. Unused amounts don't roll over to the next year and aren't redeemable for cash.
  • Renewal. The pay page (Stripe or Google Play) shows before you pay whether your plan renews automatically. If it does, it renews each year at the then-current price until you cancel, and we'll tell you before any price change applies to you. A web purchase that isn't marked as renewing is a one-year pass that simply ends.
  • Cancel anytime. Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep Helping Hand until the end of the year you've paid for. If you bought in the Android app, cancel in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. If you bought on the web, use Manage Helping Hand in the app's Settings (when available), or email us and we'll cancel it for you within 2 business days. Deleting the app or your account doesn't automatically cancel a Google Play subscription, so cancel it in Google Play too.
  • Refunds. Purchases made through Google Play follow Google Play's refund policies, and you can also email us. For web purchases, email us within 14 days of your first yearly payment for a full refund if you've used fewer than 10 asks and no pictures. Otherwise, payments aren't refundable except where the law requires.
  • Where Helping Hand is sold: on the web through Stripe; in the Android app, only through Google Play billing or another payment method Google Play allows. It isn't sold in the Android test version.

When a paid period ends without renewal, Helping Hand stops. Your notes and everything else in the free app stay.

8. Connected accounts

If you sign in with Google or X, or connect Google or Microsoft calendars, their terms and privacy policies also apply. You can disconnect any time. We aren't responsible for those services.

9. No warranty

AI-NEUT IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DON'T PROMISE THAT AI-NEUT WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT YOUR CONTENT WILL NEVER BE LOST.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, THE OPERATOR OF AI-NEUT WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO AI-NEUT OR THESE TERMS. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR AI-NEUT IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) $50 (US). Some places don't allow certain limits, so some of these may not apply to you.

11. Indemnification

If your content, your misuse of Ai-Neut, or your breaking these terms or the law leads to a claim against the operator of Ai-Neut, you agree to cover the reasonable costs of that claim, including reasonable attorneys' fees.

12. Ending your use

You can stop using Ai-Neut and delete your account and data at any time. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms or to protect users or the service. We may change or discontinue Ai-Neut. If we discontinue a paid feature, we'll refund the unused part of your current Helping Hand year. Sections 1, 4, and 9 through 15 continue after your use ends.

13. Transfer to an LLC

Charles plans to form a limited liability company to run Ai-Neut. When it's formed, he may transfer Ai-Neut, these terms, and any Helping Hand plans to that company. From then on, "we" and "us" mean the LLC. Your rights under these terms and our Privacy Policy won't be reduced by the transfer, and we'll tell you in the app and on this site before it takes effect. You may not transfer your account or these terms to someone else without our consent.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll change the effective date above, and for important changes we'll give notice in the app or on this site before they take effect. If you keep using Ai-Neut after that, you accept the new terms. Price changes for Helping Hand never apply to a year you've already paid for.

15. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Fulton County, Georgia, and you and we agree to those courts' jurisdiction. Either side may instead bring an eligible claim in small-claims court. Please email us first so we can try to fix the problem informally. If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest stays in effect. These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about Ai-Neut.
